New Potency Guidelines
We want to inform you of an important update regarding how potency is reported for our flower products, following new guidance from the Ohio Division of Cannabis Control (DCC).
Starting on any products labeled after 4/21/25
New DCC Total THC Formula:
Total THC Content=Delta-9 THC+Delta-8 THC+(Delta-9 THCA×0.877)
Why This Change?
The DCC’s updated standards are intended to provide consumers with potency information that reflects the actual state of the flower at the time of purchase, including its natural moisture content. This promotes transparency and consistency across all cultivators and testing laboratories in Ohio.
Where is this info?
What You Can Expect:
- You may notice that Total THC % and Terpene% numbers appear lower than in previous reports.
- This decrease is solely due to the change in reporting method — not because the product is less potent or effective.
- The reduction corresponds to the flower’s moisture content at the time of testing.
